Paul Schlenker is an anti-gay activist and online bully. He currently works for State Farm insurance in Bloomington Illinois as a technology analyst according to his linked in profile (available here)

His original twitter profile @paulschlenker was created on April 16, 2009. In mid 2010, he changed his twitter profile to @beatidude in order to be able to bully gay people online anonymously. He can often be found online promoting anti-gay animus in order to incite prejudice against gay people.

On December 2, 2011 Paul Schlenker tweeted that kids being placed with loving gay parents instead of being left in an orphanage was “no good for them.” (link)

On November, 21, 2011 Paul Schlenker tweeted that “very few gay relationships are monogamous” (link)

On November 21, 2011 Paul Schlenker tweeted that gay people “harm society.”(link)

On November 20, 2011 Paul Schlenker stated the oxymoronic statement that gay people don’t choose to be gay, but that God didn’t make them that way either (link). I guess it’s the devil that makes them gay.

On November 19, 2011 Paul Schlenker tried to link gay marriage to polygamy.(link)

On November 18, 2011 Pauls Schlenker tried to claim that “Refusing to place a child with a same-sex couple isn’t an act of discrimination”, but “an act of caring” (link)

On November 17, 2011 Paul Schlenker claimed that allowing gay couples to marry was the same thing as allowing 3 people to marry (link)

On November 16, 2011 Paul Schlenker claimed that the “negative effect of the legalization of same sex marriage” was that Catholic foster care would be shut down (link). He linked to a case in Illinois where Catholic adoption agencies chose to shut down. Gay marriage remains illegal in Illinois as of this writing, so the any link between the two is a figment of Paul Schlenker’s imagination.
